Arthur Millholland, P. Geol
President & Chief Executive Officer
President and CEO of Oilexco since February 1994.
Mr. Millholland has been a professional geologist for 24 years. He has worked in a variety of regions including the UK North Sea, Canada, the Gulf of Mexico, the United States, South America, and West and North Africa. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo where he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth Science.
Brian Ward
Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officer of Oilexco since July 1999.
Mr. Ward holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Calgary. Prior to joining Oilexco, Mr. Ward worked in the Canadian finance industry for 12 years specializing in the oil and gas sector.
William H. Smith, QC
Executive Vice President & General Counsel
Prior to joining Oilexco, Mr. Smith was a Partner at the Calgary law firm McCarthy Tetrault. Mr. Smith served as acting chief executive officer of the Alberta Securities Commission and chaired the Alberta Securities Commission, Securities Advisory Committee from its inception for 10 years. Mr. Smith is a director and senior officer of several public and private companies. In January 2000, he was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in recognition of his community activities.
Rod Christensen, P. Geol
Sr. Vice President, Exploration & Development, Officer
Appointed Senior Vice President Exploration & Development November 2007. Vice President Exploration since January 2005. Consulting Professional Geologist for Oilexco and other clients since 2001.
Mr. Christensen graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He has 27 years working in the natural resource industry in Western Canada and throughout the world, and held key positions with Canadian Hunter Exploration and Cuesta Energy.
Aleksandra Owad, CGA, FCCA (UK)
Chief Accounting Officer
Chief Accounting Officer since March 2007. Vice-President, Controller of Oilexco since May 2006. Financial Controller of Oilexco beginning May 2004. Consultant beginning May 2003. Reporting Director for UPC Polska (Poland) in 2002.
Ms. Owad’s background includes extensive financial advisory and audit services to companies in a variety of sectors in Europe while working with KPMG. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the United Kingdom, and holds a Master of Economics Degree from the Warsaw School of Economics.
David Marshall
Sr. Vice President Operations
Appointed Senior Vice President Operations of Oilexco Inc in November 2007. General Manager of Oilexco North Sea Limited since November 2004. Prior Managerial positions in onshore/offshore oil & gas drilling and production operations in the UK and abroad.
Mr. Marshall holds a Master Degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Petroleum Engineering. He has held a variety of management positions for both onshore and offshore oil and gas operations in Asia, North Africa, the Middle East and Western Europe.
Adrian Jones
Vice President, Well Engineering
Mr. Jones holds a Master of Science Honours Degree in Petroleum Engineering. He is responsible for planning all the safe and efficient drilling and completions operations.
