In the past couple of years we have added a number properties to our Discoveries category, either through successful drilling or by negotiating farm-ins. We have varied equity interests in these properties where hydrocarbons have been discovered but not yet fully appraised. We plan to return to these properties to conduct appraisal drilling in order to delineate the reservoirs, determine the reserve sizes and plan the best means for proceeding with development.
Having two drilling vessels under long term contract gives us the ability to partner with other companies via farm-ins to their properties. Working with partners in this way gives us access to a wide range of properties containing discoveries that would otherwise sit dormant. We believe that once our existing discoveries are fully appraised, this will allow us to increase production over the next several years.
